NYSR Portfolio Covers

The New York Society of Renderers has published seven volumes of the “Portfolio of Architectural and Interior Rendering,” starting in 1998.

It is a presentation of the very best in local architectural illustration talent, and a resource for architects, designers,

and developers who wish to commission renderings of their own.  It has been a tradition for the group to hold a competition

and award the cover image to the best rendering submitted by Members.  Here are prize winning covers from previous volumes.

Architectural rendering is about more than simply duplicating how a space will look.  It’s about transforming a conceptualized idea

into a masterfully designed visual.  These Portfolios have been periodically been sent out to the Greater New York City design community

for over 30 years now and have helped connect designers to illustration talent, and have, between the seven editions, formed a history of

the art of Rendering as practiced  in New York City for the last three decades.
